Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and implement sustainable and energy-efficient manufacturing practices.
- Develop and innovate ice cream formulations — focusing on superior flavor, texture, and stability tailored for both local and export markets.
- Conduct pilot plant trials and scale up successful recipes to full production, ensuring consistency and product excellence.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality, marketing, and sales teams to translate consumer insights into market-ready ice cream products.
- Perform sensory evaluations using structured testing to assess flavor, mouthfeel, and consumer appeal.
- Research and evaluate new ingredients, stabilizers, and emulsifiers, ensuring compliance with international food standards and enhancing shelf life.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production challenges, identify root causes, and implement continuous improvement measures to minimize waste and downtime.
- Provide technical training and guidance to production and quality teams, fostering a culture of innovation, hygiene, and operational excellence.
- Maintain detailed documentation for formulations, process parameters, and testing results, ensuring full traceability and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on global ice cream trends and technologies, bringing new concepts and sustainable solutions to the Dairy Classic product portfolio.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or Food Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of industrial experience in ice cream R&D or large-scale production.
- Proven expertise in formulation development, scaling-up, and process optimization.
- Strong knowledge of dairy ingredients, sweeteners, stabilizers, emulsifiers, and flavor systems.
- Certified in Food Safety or HACCP, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and compliance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for process control and quality consistency.
- Skilled in cross-functional collaboration between technical, production, and marketing teams.
- Fluent in English (Uzbek or Russian an added advantage).
- Passionate about innovation in frozen desserts and driven to enhance consumer satisfaction through quality and creativity
