Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Team Leader ensures that both ICLA and Protection activities are well-coordinated, rights-based, and responsive to the evolving protection needs of affected populations.

- Knowledge and experience related to counselling and/or paralegal empowerment, protection programming

- Knowledge about the displacement context in Yemen
- Basic knowledge about data management
- Excellent knowledge about Protection , Housing, Land and Property and Legal Identity Documentation issues in Yemen

Generic Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of ICLA/Protection activities in line with NRC strategy, proposals, budgets, and work plans.
- Ensure compliance with NRC policies, tools, handbooks, guidelines, and donor requirements, while promoting continuous technical improvement.
- Engage and inform communities, community leaders, and local authorities about project activities and objectives.
- Break down annual operational plans into weekly, monthly, and quarterly implementation plans to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Coordinate and collaborate internally within NRC and externally with communities, stakeholders, and partners to ensure complementarity and synergy.
- Supervise and strengthen the capacity of field staff and community-based workers through training, mentoring, and skill transfer.
- Prepare regular progress reports, statistics, and documentation, ensuring activities prioritize the most vulnerable and explore improved approaches to assistance.
Specific Responsibilities
- Lead the supervision and implementation of ICLA/Protection activities in line with NRC strategies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Promote integration of ICLA/Protection within area program and coordinate with M&E, Community Consultation, and Referral Teams for quality delivery.
- Design team work plans and activities aligned with project targets, ensuring high-quality and context-appropriate services.
- Support budget spending in line with donor and NRC regulations and track financial expenditures for ICLA/Protection projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate transfer of field data to ICLA/Protection databases and maintain complete online and offline filing systems.
- Contribute to donor and internal reports, ensuring alignment with project indicators and NRC reporting standards.
- Maintain and regularly update an effective ICLA/Protection case management system following NRC policies and SOPs.
- Ensure security and confidentiality of all collected data throughout project implementation.
- Build the capacity of team members through ongoing coaching and the development of work tools and IEC materials.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager to ensure smooth project implementation.
