Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and develop tailored ICT and ELV (light current) solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to design optimal system architectures.
- Develop detailed technical proposals, including bill of quantities (BOQ), compliance statements, and solution diagrams.
- Support the sales process by responding to RFPs, RFQs, and technical queries from clients.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to source appropriate products and ensure solution compatibility.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to validate technical requirements and solution feasibility.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ICT and ELV systems.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets for proposed solutions.
- Provide technical training and support to internal teams and end-users as required.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in ICT and/or ELV Pre-sales Engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of ICT and ELV systems, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and audio-visual solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, proposals, and compliance statements.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design and diagramming tools.
- Ability to conduct site surveys and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
