Roles & Responsibilities

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ICT Engineer - Airport Infrastructure to join our team! The ICT Engineer supports the planning, coordination, review, and delivery of ICT systems for airport and airfield infrastructure projects. The role ensures that communication, IT, and airport operational systems are designed and implemented in accordance with airport operational requirements, international aviation standards, and project delivery timelines.

What You'll Be Doing;

  • Support the delivery of ICT systems across airport infrastructure projects including terminal buildings, airside facilities, and support buildings.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and airport stakeholders to ensure ICT systems are integrated with overall project design.
  • Review ICT design submissions and ensure compliance with project specifications and aviation standards.
  • Monitor ICT implementation progress and report on delivery milestones.
  • Coordinate and review implementation of airport ICT systems such as; Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), Data Networks and Wi-Fi, Airport Operational Database (AODB), Flight Information Display System (FIDS), Common Use Terminal Equipment (CUTE/CUPPS), CCTV and Video Management Systems, Access Control Systems, Public Address / Voice Alarm Systems, Passenger Processing Systems, Baggage Handling System (ICT interface), Airfield communication networks
  • Review ICT drawings, specifications, method statements, and shop drawings.
  • Ensure integration with other disciplines including electrical, security, and airport operational systems.
  • Participate in design workshops and technical coordination meetings.
  • Liaise with airport operator, aviation authorities, IT departments, and project consultants.
  • Ensure ICT systems align with airport operational requirements and digital strategies.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Support system integration testing and operational readiness activities.
  • Assist with handover documentation and operational training.
  • Ensure compliance with ICAO standards, IATA airport technology guidelines, Airport operator ICT standards, Cybersecurity requirements, Local regulatory requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

What Required Skills You'll Bring;

  • Bachelor s Degree in Information & Communication Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical / Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in ICT engineering.
  • At least 3 years in airport or aviation infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with airport operational systems and smart airport technologies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of airport ICT systems
  • Understanding of system integration in complex infrastructure projects
  • Design review and technical coordination

  • Project documentation and reporting
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and network infrastructure
