Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans for ICU patients.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed.

Lead and participate in daily ICU rounds with the healthcare team.

Perform emergency procedures, including intubation, resuscitation, ventilator management, and other life-saving interventions.

Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Communicate effectively with patient families, providing updates and counseling as required.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and regulatory standards in Qatar.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Participate in on-call duties, emergency response teams, and clinical audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

Arabic nationality (mandatory).

Minimum 5 years of ICU/critical care practice in Qatar (mandatory).

Valid Qatar Medical License (QCHP) or eligibility for licensing.

MD/MBBS degree with specialization in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, or Pulmonology.

Advanced certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and preferred FCCS.

Strong clinical judgment and ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Proficiency in Arabic is mandatory; English communication skills will be an added advantage.
