Roles & Responsibilities
Job Role:
- We are seeking a high-caliber Implementation Manager to join the UAE delivery team.
- The role Implementation Manager serves as the primary, high-touch interface for our customers in UAE, ensuring that quality and proximity are never compromised.
- In this pivotal role, you will hold end-to-end accountability for the delivery of Radio Access Network (RAN) & Microwave swap and rollout projects.
- You will act as the vital link between the customer, offshore implementation coordinators, and onsite field teams.
- From initial site surveys and ASP performance management to securing technical acceptance (ATP) and final commercial invoicing (PAC/FA-C), you will drive network transformation and stabilization while upholding the highest EHS and quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer Interface & Strategic Alignment:
- Primary Lead: Act as the lead interface for UAE customers, providing local proximity, transparent communication, and rapid resolution of escalations.
- Pre-Sales Support: Draft technical proposals, Statements of Work (SoW), and risk notes; define clear deliverables and acceptance criteria.
- Operational Alignment: Collaborate with Solution and Delivery teams to ensure bid feasibility, resource capacity, and realistic lead times.
Technical Execution & RAN-MW Swap Oversight:
- Migration Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end migration and integration of network elements, ensuring zero service interruption during swap activities.
- Legacy Integration: Lead the migration of external alarms from legacy vendors to Ericsson systems.
- Stability & Optimization: Provide oversight for remote SW/HW support post-swap to ensure site stability and performance meet contracted KPIs.
- Network Analysis: Identify complex technical issues and coordinate high-level troubleshooting between the NOC, field teams, and offshore coordinators.
Project Planning & Governance:
- Strategic Planning: Develop detailed project execution plans, identifying critical paths and managing the Weekly Rollout Plan (WRP).
- Governance: Lead weekly meetings with customers and internal stakeholders to report on rollout progress and site forecasts.
- Regulatory Access: Coordinate with Customer, government and authorities to secure site access for Military, MOI, and Operators locations.
Quality Assurance & Acceptance Management:
- Test Management: Create, review, and execute technical implementation and acceptance test cases.
- Field Supervision: Conduct onsite quality and EHS audits; organize field troubleshooting to validate service readiness.
- Documentation Control: Drive the approval of "As-Built" documentation and CSV files in Ericsson and customer tools, managing the output of offshore acceptance teams.
Resource & Financial Management:
- ASP Management: Oversee ASP onboarding and performance; manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure works stay within budget.
- Logistics Oversight: Supervise the material lifecycle (SMR/RMA) and ensure hardware delivery is verified via Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Commercial Closing: Secure technical acceptance (ATP) to trigger PAC/FAC issuance and facilitate timely invoicing and cash collection.
Qualifications , Experience & Required Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Project Management: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred to manage complex rollout lifecycles
- Industry Tenure: Minimum of 5 8 years of experience in mobile network implementation.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record in RAN swap, MW, rollout, and integration projects within multi-vendor environments.
- Experience in the Middle East telecom market is a significant advantage
Technical Expertise:
- Network Technologies: Deep understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies and Microwave (MW) links, including Civil and Power infrastructure requirements.
- Operations & Troubleshooting: Hands-on experience in network troubleshooting, performance analysis tools, and operational stabilization processes.
- Vendor Platforms: Strong knowledge of Ericsson platforms and hardware/software configurations.
- Systems Proficiency: Advanced, expert-level command of:
- Project & Rollout Tools: Erisite, ST (Site Tracker), ERITOP, and ONES.
- Service Management: IFS Metrix and customer-specific access portals.
- Business Tools: MS Excel (for complex data tracking/analysis) and SAP (for procurement and financial management).
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
Project Management: PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred to manage complex rollout lifecycles
Minimum of 5 8 years of experience in mobile network implementation.
Proven track record in RAN swap, MW, rollout, and integration projects within multi-vendor environments.
