Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Import and Logistics Coordinator
Monitoring of orders from foreign suppliers.
- Send the necessary instructions to foreign suppliers for the preparation of all documents necessary for importation.
- Verification and validation of all documents necessary for importation (pro forma, invoice, BL/AWB, certificate of origin, EUR1 ...etc).
- Monitoring the shipping procedure for the goods.
- Ensure that all necessary documents are delivered from the foreign supplier to the local bank within the required timeframes.
- Preparation of all necessary documents for obtaining technical visas and import authorizations from local authorities.
- To travel to local administrations and ensure that all import authorizations are obtained in a timely manner to meet the company's commitments.
- Monitoring of the customs clearance operation until receipt of the goods.
- D. Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of import laws and closely monitor official updates and notices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Degree: University (foreign trade, banking, finance)
- Place of residence: Kouba, Hussein Dey, Ain Naadja, Bir Mourad Rais.
- Age: Between 25 and 40 years old.
- Fluent in Arabic, French and English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in using computer tools.
- Mastery of the import process according to local laws and requirements (laws, necessary documents, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of banking payment methods (LC, documentary collection, free transfer) and incoterms (CPT, CFR, FOB, FCA).
- Possessing analytical and organizational skills.
- Learns quickly.
- Excellent oral communication skills combined with a sense of persuasion.
- Written communication: Ability to write emails, letters, explanatory letters in French and English, etc.
- Having a minimum of two years' experience in the field of import, shipping companies, banking, etc.
