Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the company's ongoing regulatory compliance procedures with the relevant institutions (Ministry of Commerce, Customs, Bank of Algeria, DGI, Ministries of the Interior, ARPCE).
  • Ensure regulatory approval and homologation procedures, particularly for sensitive equipment and software (encryption)
  • Manage the complete import and international payment cycle for software and equipment, including: Pre-domiciliation, opening of LC, REMDOC, preparation of customs files (invoices, EUR.1, certificates, B/L), coordination with freight forwarders, banks, (DGI for software) and, tracking of deliveries to the end customer.
  • Monitor and resolve any customs or administrative disputes.
  • Perform cost price calculations in local currency.
  • Establish accurate estimates of customer delivery times.
  • Track payments for imported services (software & licenses) in connection with taxes (DGI).
  • Produce regular reports (flows, costs, deviations, deadlines, incidents)
  • Complete mastery of customs law, Algerian import and foreign payment procedures (physical equipment and software/license) and international trade rules.
  • Knowledge of import and payment regulations specific to sensitive software, licenses and equipment.
  • My understanding of cost price calculation tools and import documents.
  • Perfect understanding of Incoterms, customs regimes, import taxation, withholding tax, etc.
  • Confirmed experience in import logistics (3-5 years minimum).
