Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Negotiate favorable terms with international suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of goods.
  • Manage the end-to-end import process, including customs clearance, documentation, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to optimize shipping routes and minimize transit times and costs.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of import documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, ensuring accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or similar.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in import/export operations within the manufacturing industry.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of customs regulations, import procedures, and Incoterms.
