Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Track payments, documentary credits, and relationships with the finance department. 
  • Ensure internal communication with the purchasing, logistics and accounting departments.
  • Keep import records up to date.
  • Managing import operations from A-Z: from ordering to receiving goods
  • Monitor shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, shipping companies, and airlines.
  • Check the import documentation: invoices, customs documents, certificates of origin, BL, etc.
  • Coordinate customs operations in conjunction with the declarants
  • Monitor delivery deadlines and anticipate potential delays or disputes.
  • Update the import databases and prepare regular reports.
  • Tax and parafiscal monitoring.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in international business or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in an import company
  • Good command of customs procedures and import regulations
  • My mastery of French (English is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulousness, and the ability to work under pressure
