Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Every day is different at IHG, but you ll mostly be:
- Answering guest calls promptly and taking food and beverage orders with accuracy and courtesy.
- Recommending menu items, upselling specials, and ensuring guest preferences are captured.
- Entering orders into the POS system and coordinating with the kitchen and service teams.
- Following up on timely delivery and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assisting with VIP setups, special requests, and personalized service.
- Handling guest complaints and concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Maintaining accurate records of orders, charges, and guest requests.
- Ensuring compliance with IHG service standards and food safety procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous experience in Food & Beverage or customer service within a 4/5-star hotel.
- Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in POS systems; Opera knowledge is an advantage.
- A passion for guest service and attention to detail.
- Good in English and other languages is an advantage.
