Roles & Responsibilities
JOB PURPOSE

The main purpose of this role is to manage and oversee all inbound operations for Binzagr Unilever Distribution (BUD), ensuring accurate and timely receiving of stocks from sourcing units into Saudi Arabia. The role secures product availability for the market, leads the reverse logistics and claims management cycle, and drives cost optimization while upholding Unilever s safety, quality, and compliance standards. The Logistics Inbound Supervisor acts as the key link between 3PL, sourcing units, customer service, finance, and clearance teams to deliver seamless inbound flow and continuous operational improvements.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
- Manage inbound shipment plans with Primary Logistics and Customer Service to secure stock availability.
- Build and share inbound shipment plans with 3PL, ensuring operational capacity and on-time offloading priorities.
- Track inbound shipments with SUs, Clearance, and 3PL to prevent delays or detention charges.
- Oversee inbound receiving processes, including GR validation on SAP, reconciliation of shortages/damages, and monitoring IDOCs.
- Lead daily operational calls with 3PL, review warehousing activities, and ensure SSHE & Quality compliance.
- Supervise the full reverse logistics and claims management cycle, from market returns to credit note issuance.
- Prepare and present inbound KPIs, scorecards, and daily status updates to leadership.
- Verify brokers bills, POD accuracy, and transportation ETA/ATA.
- Drive inbound improvement projects in collaboration with 3PL and cross-functional stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inbound operations (FMCG or distribution industry preferred).
- Solid knowledge of inbound logistics processes, and reverse logistics.
- Proficiency in SAP (inbound deliveries, GR, IDOCs) and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in managing 3PLs and working with cross-functional teams (finance, customer service, clearance, etc.).
