The Role!

The Inbound Senior Coordinator is responsible for executing inbound operations at scale while leading a team of coordinators. The role ensures inbound activities receiving, unloading, quality checks, labeling, and put-away are completed accurately, safely, and on time, in line with capacity plans and SLAs resolution.

Job Responsibilities

Inbound Operations:
ExecutionOwn day-to-day inbound execution for assigned zones or shifts.
Ensure timely receiving, unloading, verification, labeling, and put-away of inbound stock.
Prioritize inbound workload based on capacity, dock availability, and downstream operational impact.
Ensure inbound SLAs and throughput targets are consistently met.

Team Leadership & Floor Management:

Lead and supervise 10 12 inbound coordinators on the floor.
Allocate tasks, manage breaks, and balance workload across the team.
Provide real-time guidance, coaching, and corrective action when needed.
Act as the first escalation point for operational issues within the inbound function.

Quality, Accuracy & Compliance:

Ensure correct item counts, SKU validation, and condition checks at receiving.
Enforce inbound SOPs, safety standards, and tool usage.
Minimize inbound errors, mislabeling, and incorrect put-away.
Conduct spot checks to ensure inbound quality and accuracy.

Capacity & Readiness:

SupportSupport the Inbound Supervisor in daily manpower and capacity planning.
Flag capacity risks early (high volumes, absenteeism, dock congestion).
Support peak planning and special inbound campaigns.

Reporting & Performance :

TrackingTrack inbound KPIs such as:
Inbound units processed per hour
Receiving accuracy
Put-away SLA
Dock-to-stock time
Report daily performance, blockers, and risks to the Inbound Supervisor.

Cross-Functional :

Coordination Coordinate closely with Inventory, Outbound, and WMS/Tech teams to ensure smooth stock flow.
Escalate systemic issues to the Inbound Supervisor with clear context and data.
Support Account Management inquiries related to inbound status when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

1-3 years of experience in inbound warehouse or fulfillment operations.
Previous experience supervising teams on the warehouse floor.
Strong understanding of receiving, put-away, and inventory handover processes.
Experience working with WMS and barcode-based workflows.
