Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
-
Provide individual and group counseling to students with learning differences or special education needs.
-
Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, inclusion staff, and parents to implement personalized support strategies.

Assist in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and ensure ongoing monitoring and review.

Support students emotional and social well-being through evidence-based interventions and counseling.

Facilitate professional development workshops for staff related to inclusive practices and student support.
-
Maintain the confidentiality of student records and ensure adherence to ethical standards.
Bachelor s degree in Counseling, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master s degree preferred). -
Minimum of 2 years experience in a school setting, preferably in an inclusion or counseling role.

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated understanding of inclusive education models and support frameworks.

Familiarity with or willingness to adopt Conscious Discipline and child-centered approaches.
