Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, and in collaboration with Project Coordinator, the Inclusive Education Coordinator will be responsible for quality and timely delivery of Inclusive Education services and activities. The Inclusive Education Coordinator will ensure that activities are implemented as planned, meeting the desired objectives and goals within the designated schedule and the budget. The Coordinator will lead close coordination with Ministry of Education (MoE), Directorate of Education, schools, Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HCD) and other relevant parties.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES

Support Project Manager and coordinate with Project Coordinator and Project Assistant, and proactively work on the project implementation and provide assistance to field staff (assistant teacher).
Coordinate with Project Coordinator and support the rehabilitation of Kindergarten and school facilities to ensure inclusive learning environments, in line with MoE and HCD standards.
Provide appropriate learning materials and assistive devices for children with disabilities, collaborating with developmental specialists, educators, and caregivers.
Conduct developmental and disability assessments to inform individualized support plans for children.
Support Kindergarten teachers and school staff in delivering individualized, inclusive education, including child-centered teaching approaches, lesson planning, and classroom management.
Provide structured, supportive supervision to Kindergarten and schools, including direct observation, feedback, and coaching for assistant teachers.
Promote inclusive practices among children, teachers, and school staff through awareness sessions, peer-support activities, and inclusive education campaigns.

Monitor and report accurately on resource utilization.
Support the Project Manager in administrative and managerial tasks, including internal/external reporting and project tracking.
Ensure accountability in targeting beneficiaries, delivery of services, and implementation of activities in line with WV policies and donor requirements.

Collect, maintain, and analyze data related to children s participation and progress.
Work with MEAL team to evaluate activities, propose corrective actions, and track project indicators.

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with all education stakeholders, including MoE, local authorities, school committees, NGOs, UN agencies, and community-based organizations.
Facilitate coordination between kindergartens and primary schools to ensure smooth transitions and consistent support for children.
Represent World Vision in education-related meetings, coordination forums, and policy dialogues as needed.

Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions among target schools and between target and non-target schools to disseminate good practices.
Support policy dialogues with the Ministry of Education to provide recommendations on inclusive education.
Facilitate the documentation and communication of lessons learned and successful practices for sustainability and replication.

Ensure that all project activities comply with safeguarding principles and the do no harm approach.
Collaborate with Child Protection & Safeguarding Technical Coordinator to provide training on safeguarding and child protection to project and school staff.
Monitor adherence to World Vision policies and donor safeguarding guidelines.

Perform any other duties as assigned by MoFA project staff.

Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of five years of experience as an Inclusive Education Coordinator, or equivalent, in an Inclusive Education project.
Proven experience in the field of disability and inclusion, particularly in Inclusive Education.
Experience working with at-risk, out-of-school, and vulnerable children and families.
Proven experience in and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability.
Proven experience with skills in training, facilitation, and coaching assistant teachers
Experience as a kindergarten teacher, kindergarten manager, primary school teacher, or special education center teacher is considered an asset.
Bachelor s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Excellent command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
Proficient in using email software and MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
