Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Income Audit Officer is responsible for verifying, analyzing, and reconciling all income-related transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry standards. They play a vital role in safeguarding company revenue and supporting financial integrity through detailed audits and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly income reports from various departments.
Verify accuracy of revenue entries and ensure proper documentation.
Conduct internal audits of income processes and identify discrepancies or irregularities.
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve income discrepancies.
Maintain detailed audit records and prepare audit reports for management.
Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and statutory regulations.
Assist in the implementation of internal controls and process improvements.
Support external auditors during financial audits as needed.
Keep updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting income auditing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are advantageous.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and audit procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
