Roles & Responsibilities

B. Teaching and learning: · To be able to teach all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum. · Organising the classroom, learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment and support the development of the Mamoura British Academy USP in this area.


Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class. · Providing support and interventions for students with EAL or who have additional learning needs. · Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation. · Evidencing children’s work and learning in line with the Mamoura British Academy Marking and Feedback policy. · Being reflective of lessons taught and student progress, and adjusting planning, curriculum and continuous provision to reflect this. · Meeting with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, if required.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrates strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

  • Exhibits excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals.

  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.

  • Is fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.

  • Exhibits exceptional discretion and maintains strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

  • Is a self-starter with the ability to work independently and proactively, taking initiative and anticipating needs.
