Roles & Responsibilities
Role & responsibilities
- Conduct Pre-employment and periodic medical exams
- Aware about classifying the work-related injuries
- Able to read and diagnose the alcohol and drug results and follow the actions accordingly.
- Track and manage occupational illnesses and injuries
- Identify and assess health hazards
- Advise on preventive measures and industrial hygiene
- Develop health protocols and ensure legal compliance
- Support HR with wellness and return-to-work programs
- Provide health counseling and mental wellbeing guidance
- Lead training on first aid and emergency response
- Maintain medical documentation
- Offer expert input on insurance and legal matters
- Coordinate with safety teams, HR, and healthcare professionals
Desired Candidate Profile
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent)
- Certification in Occupational Health
- ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- ATLS Advanced Trauma Life Support
- Emergency Department experience or membership
- 7+ years post-qualification, with 3.5 years each in Emergency Medicine and Occupational Health, preferably in industrial sectors like oil & gas.
- Certified MRO (Medical Review Officer) MOH License (Desirable)
- Knowledge about Occupational Health and Hygiene,
