Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Install, modify, and repair electrical wiring and equipment according to technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime.
  • Perform electrical testing and calibration on various equipment to ensure accurate operation and enhance reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory to support efficient operations and compliance audits.
  • Assist in developing and updating maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment lifespan and efficiency.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians in electrical safety practices and troubleshooting techniques to foster a skilled workforce.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance technical knowledge.
  • Participate in safety meetings and initiatives to promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to design and implement electrical systems for new projects or upgrades.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • An associate degree or equivalent technical certification in electrical engineering or industrial technology is required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an industrial setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of electrical systems.
  • Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, or automation is advantageous for understanding industry-specific challenges.
  • Candidates should possess a strong foundation in electrical theory and practical application, backed by real-world experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus for multinational workplace environments.
  • Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical testing equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with diverse teams and foster collaboration.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity are essential, as the role may involve heavy lifting and working in confined spaces.
