Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and machinery in industrial settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using diagnostic tools and advanced problem-solving skills to restore functionality promptly.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installation and repair tasks effectively.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on electrical technology or a related field is essential.
  • Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program in industrial electricity, providing hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge.
  • Certification as a journeyman electrician, demonstrating proficiency and adherence to industry standards.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment, showcasing a strong understanding of complex electrical systems.
