Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities to identify potential health hazards (chemical, biological, physical).
Develop and implement exposure control plans and hazard mitigation strategies.
Monitor air quality, noise levels, ventilation, and other environmental factors.
Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health and safety regulations.
Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and safety teams to improve facility health standards.
Provide training and awareness programs for staff on occupational health and hygiene practices.
Investigate complaints and incidents related to workplace health hazards.
Stay updated on emerging industrial hygiene technologies and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master's preferred).
Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial hygiene, preferably within facilities management or related industries.
Strong knowledge of occupational health standards, hazard control methods, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with environmental monitoring equipment and data analysis.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
Proficiency in MS Office and relevant reporting tools.
