Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Industrial Kitchen Equipment Design Office Engineer
Prepare the machine programs (laser, CNC, bending machine, punch press).
Optimize production processes and manufacturing time.
Ensure the accuracy of the parts produced.
Collaborating with the production manager and the stagehands.
Ensuring the transformation of 3D plans from the design office into industrial manufacturing processes.
Program the parts with SolidWorks and prepare the files for the machines (laser, punch press, bending machine).
Define and optimize the manufacturing methods for stainless steel parts to guarantee precision, quality and production efficiency.
Working directly in the factory in coordination with production and machinists to ensure that all parts are manufactured correctly according to technical plans.
Desired Candidate Profile
Engineer or senior technician in mechanical engineering, mechanical manufacturing or industrial engineering.
Minimum 2-3 years experience in the manufacture of stainless steel industrial kitchen equipment.
Proficiency in SolidWorks for the preparation and programming of parts.
Good knowledge of CNC machines (laser, punch press, bending machine).
Excellent ability to read and interpret industrial technical drawings.
Rigour, organisational skills and the ability to work between the design office and the production workshop.
Real-world factory experience (not just theoretical) is essential. The candidate must be able to understand the actual manufacturing process of parts and work directly with the machines and production teams.
We prefer a profile that has already worked in the design or manufacture of ovens, hoods, stainless steel tables, cold cabinets or catering equipment.
The candidate must be serious, autonomous and capable of solving technical problems quickly in order to improve production and guarantee the quality of the equipment manufactured.
