Job Description
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Production
Plans, manages, and coordinates the activities of industrial validation of the product/process (methods, purchasing, engineering office) to meet the cost, quality, delivery, and HSE objectives of the production line in accordance with the schedule defined by the industrial brand.
- Identifies and sets up the project group called the Multidisciplinary Industrial Validation Group (GPVI); Plans, leads, and approves the completion of PVI, APQP, etc. milestones.
Supports the preparation of industrialization reviews for the methods component, in order to ensure the maturity of the industrialization.
Is the primary contact for the production manager, the engineering office, and the industrial brand of the program concerned.
Manages and implements process and product improvements.
Maintains the industrial file for their production line (T100, Configuration As planned, FMEA, FIT, PVI, Monitoring Plan).
During the pre-industrialization phase: Establishes the first process risk analysis in relation to the offer made to the client and proposes a risk reduction plan.
During the concurrent engineering phase: Ensures compliance with the key elements of the Business Plan:
- Quality (process capability), Production cost (T100), Cycle/Capacity: (identification of modules, possibility of balancing).
During the development and implementation phase of the production tool: Builds or has the sequencers for the range built and transmits them to the producer.
During the initial production phase:
- Manages the action plan, methods for eradicating defects, and bringing the process under control.
- Leads the design improvement plan.
- Consolidates action plans associated with the T100 based on production cost results for the first parts.
- Validates sequencer adjustment and phase balancing plans.
- Participates in the Rate Readiness action plan for the deployment of a production tool aligned with the ramp-up.
Defines, in coordination with the line manager, the production organization to deliver materials in accordance with cost, quality, delivery, and HSE requirements.
HSE SKILLS:
Applies procedures and instructions related to their activity.
Uses available collective or individual protective equipment.
Reports any HSE-related anomalies to their supervisor.
Proposes guidance on improvement solutions and participates in the search for better HSE prevention.
Job Requirements
You hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school in mechanical engineering or equivalent and have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, or 5 years of equivalent experience in a similar role. You have
a good understanding of industrial drawing,
a solid grasp of mechanical fundamentals, and a good understanding of production systems (flows, VSM, SPC).
