Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement and monitor policies and procedures for hospital staff regarding sterilization, disinfection and decontamination of personnel, instruments and equipment.

  • Regularly round in various hospital departments to evaluate compliance with infection prevention practices and regulatory
  • Develop and provide educational programs for hospital staff on infection prevention practices. This includes training new employees on basic infection prevention principles.
  • Analyze and distribute monthly surveillance data of the Infection Control team and reports to the medical staff, nursing staff and the quality and safety departments.
  • Lead investigations of infection outbreaks, collaborating with clinical teams to identify sources, implement control measures, and report findings.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in healthcare field (e.g., physician, pharmacist, dentist)

  • Infection control diploma is a must.
  • 2 years of experience in infection control , with specific experience in GAHAR accreditation processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and implement effective infection control measures.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to infection control.
