Infrastructure Engineer

Main activities:

• The employee will be required to carry out, while mastering the methodologies, tools and technologies in use within their scope, all or part of the following activities:
• Define the [OS] standards, engineering rules, processes and Configuration Management tools
• Build the deployment infrastructure
• Automating operational tasks
• Participate in the optimization of server environments (operations, performance audits, system tuning).
• Transforming routine activities into an orchestrated on-demand mode.
• Ensuring the operational maintenance of the infrastructure within its scope, including in particular
• Incident management,
• Diagnosing the failures
• The root cause of the problems
• Risk assessment and remediation, particularly related to safety and continuity of service
• Obsolescence management
• The formalization of the procedural framework supporting the implementation of operational processes
• The support
• On-call duty
• The evolution of the infrastructure
• Install and maintain the operational status of cluster environments.
• Conduct studies, contribute to transformation projects and deploy technical solutions.
• Define the standards, engineering rules, processes and configuration tools for Managemento
• Participate in discussions on the evolution of infrastructure within your scope and define the impacts on production/support; Lead projects, design solutions, participate in technical studies, define appropriate architectures, create prototypes and deploy the most suitable technical solutions in collaboration with the relevant departments; Build deployment infrastructures
• To participate in a continuous improvement approach; to produce the data and APIs (Application Programming Interface) necessary for the control and automation of production
