Responsible for implementing IT system audits related to networks, databases, systems, applications and other IT components, in addition to implementing Infrastructure requirements within Andalus Electronics, ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Also responsible for managing the network requirements, ensuring installation of upgrades, monitoring network performance and all computer communication networks at Andalus Electronics in addition to recommending network, data communications, hardware & software to ensure uninterrupted performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement the overall in-house IT operations for all Departments within Andalus Electronics by consulting with top management to analyze computer systems needs for information management and functional operations.
• Implement the appropriate procedures, documentation, inventory assessment, and other procedures related to Andalus Electronics IT Infrastructure, ensuring the same are up to par with set Policies & Procedures.
• Ensure proper Implementation of system troubleshooting methods, in order to reduce downtime and lower repair costs.
• Monitor the upgrading of company IT systems software programs, whenever an update is released, in order to ensure Andalus Electronics IT infrastructure is in line with the most advanced technological requirements.
• Ensure the Configuration, administration and maintenance of systems monitoring platform(s) for servers and other critical systems.
• Develop and administer and test disaster plans in order to keep the company functional in the event of a crisis within the IT infrastructure in coordination with the Head of IT.
• Oversee networking equipment including switches, routers and firewalls where applicable, within Andalus Electronics IT infrastructure.
• Coordinate the maintenance of computer systems, PCs/ laptops, printers and keep them updated and assist users in utilizing IT resources efficiently in accordance with high quality service standards required.
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activities.
• Maintain an updated inventory of all hardware and software resources.
• Perform internal IT audits and participates in integrated audits while ensuring compliance with Andalus Electronics Audit Department s methodology and industry professional standards.
• Ensure maintaining and updating the network architecture diagram that shows the network addresses of all nodes and networks connected to Andalus Electronics Local Area Network (LAN) including list of authorized usernames.
• Manage and schedule activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage the IT Technical support operations to resolve problems for the end users in order to ensure maximum satisfaction.
• Oversee configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the internal workstations.
• Assist in the evaluation /selection of IT vendors to ensure the most appropriate service is yielded.
• Deliver high quality innovative Workflow management solutions that achieve business requirements, monitor development progress, review and report project progress and escalate issues and risks.
• Ensure accurate record at all stages of IT Infrastructure development within Andalus Electronics while adhering to the set budgets.
• Improve the effectiveness of database tools and services ensuring all the data is protected and backed-up and complies with legal regulations.
• Ensure the storage, archiving, backup and their recovery procedures to ensure they are functioning accurately.
• Perform ad-hoc activities related to the job as requested by the Direct Manager.
