Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for infrastructure projects, including earthworks, utilities, and structures, leveraging specialist software and market data.
- Conduct thorough value engineering exercises, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality or functionality.
- Manage and evaluate subcontractor accounts, ensuring accurate payment applications and adherence to contractual terms and conditions.
- Analyze project progress, track variations, and prepare timely cost reports to inform stakeholders and facilitate proactive decision-making.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field; a master's degree is advantageous.
- Holds professional certifications such as MRICS or equivalent, demonstrating commitment to industry standards.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in infrastructure projects, with a focus on roads, bridges, or utilities.
- Exhibits strong knowledge of international standard forms of contract, such as FIDIC, and their practical application.
