Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As part of the expansion of our railway industrial activities, we are seeking a Welding Quality Engineer to ensure the control, compliance, and continuous improvement of our boilermaking and welding operations.
You will be involved at the heart of the manufacturing and assembly processes, guaranteeing adherence to the quality and regulatory requirements of the railway sector.
- Inspection and quality control of welded assemblies, fabricated structures and railway components.
- Verification of product conformity to railway industry standards and specifications (EN 15085, ISO 3834, IRIS).
- Monitoring and validation of welder qualifications, welding procedure specifications (WPQS/WPD) and NDT personnel qualifications.
- Non-conformity management: identification, root cause analysis, definition and monitoring of corrective and preventive actions.
- Participation in the development, updating and application of control plans and manufacturing ranges.
- Conducting internal and external quality audits (processes, suppliers).
- Implementation and monitoring of quality performance indicators related to manufacturing and assembly.
- Technical support to production teams for any quality issues related to boiler making and welding.
