Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Are you passionate about bringing operational structure to chaos? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment where innovation meets real-world use cases? Do you want to be part of a diverse, global team working with clients across banking and financial services?

If so, we invite you to join our Innovation Team (part of the Customer Consulting Group at LSEG) as an Innovation Operations Specialist, where you will play a critical role in managing operations of the innovation team and our client co-innovation initiatives.

We are looking for an expert in operations who can take on three day-to-day challenges: 1) Innovation program management ensuring all co-innovation projects are governed under LSEG-defined policies 2) Collateral & knowledge management championing internal project documentation and client-ready materials (demo videos, presentation, and storytelling through blogs) 3) Pythondevelopmentgetting hands-on to support changes to existing solutions under guidance from architects (a pathway for future career growth).

5-Point Role Summary

  • Own the program & governance cadence for client co-innovation projects (stage gates reviews, governance approvals, Architecture review board).
  • Lead documentation excellence by making sure that demos, videos, decks, and reusable knowledge assets are created for all innovation projects.
  • Contribute hands-on Python changes to existing solutions (under architect guidance for career progression).
  • Drive cross-functional execution, removing operational blockers and improving ways of working.
  • Provide clear stakeholder reporting with concise executive & client project updates using decision-ready packs.

Day-to-Day Activities

Governance & Compliance: Organize, execute, and ensure projects meet governance requirements (AI Governance, Architecture Review Board), partnering with architects and AI engineers; run internal stakeholder governance forums and maintain audit trails.

Program Management: Manage client co-innovation projects with Asana (and, where needed, Excel or Microsoft Project); track milestones, dependencies, RAID, actions, and decisions to keep delivery on time.

Cross-Functional Operations: Collaborate with engineering, cloud, security, data, legal, and finance to streamline operating practices so projects are executed in the best possible manner.

Documentation & Collateral Readiness: Keep documentation for existing projects and demos/prototypes for new ideas up to date and client-ready (demo videos, decks, one-pagers, READMEs) in SharePoint with version control and brand compliance.

Hands-On Python (~25% time): L ook into existing code and implement changes as required in Python solutions (bug fixes, small features, tests, logging), document changes, and use AI tools in the software development cycle

Desired Candidate Profile

Must-Have Skills

  • 3+ years' experience managing operations in a software development or professional services environment.
  • Governance execution experience (e.g., Architecture Review Board / AI governance, stakeholder governance) with audit-ready documentation.
  • Knowledge management capability: creating and maintaining documentation, client-ready demo videos/decks, and prototype artefacts.
  • Programming (Python): practical experience extending existing codebases, writing tests, and using Git/CI; comfortable with basics like pandas/requests and SQL.
  • Communication: excellent verbal and written English.
