Innovation Specialist
Job Purpose


We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Innovation Specialist to support the design, implementation, and management of innovation programs and initiatives. The role involves working closely with academic institutions, startups, corporations, and government partners to foster collaboration, drive innovation, and deliver measurable impact.
Job Accountabilities

Assist in the design and execution of innovation programs and strategic initiatives.
Support the development of project plans, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics (KPIs).
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including student communities, universities, startups, corporates, and public-sector entities.
Help organize and facilitate innovation workshops, training sessions, hackathons, and ecosystem-building events.
Conduct desk and field research to identify emerging innovation trends, startup needs, and market opportunities.
Contribute to the preparation of program reports, progress updates, and presentations.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating the impact of innovation initiatives, identifying areas for improvement.
Support the development of proposals and communication materials for partners and funders.

Desired Candidate Profile



Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, Innovation Management, Public Policy, or a related field.
2 5 years of relevant experience in innovation, program coordination, entrepreneurship, or ecosystem development.
Required Experience

3-5 years relevant experience in similar positions
Good experience in project management
Required Skills

A good understanding of Innovation and Entrepreneurship ecosystems.
Project Management skills
Proven ability to communicate clearly, both written and oral, Arabic and English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Innovative, positive approach, self-motivated.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Proficiency in MS Office and digital collaboration tools.
Excellent collaboration skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Passion for technology, startups, and sustainable innovation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
