Position Overview
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is seeking an experienced Inspection Engineer for the Right of Way Department. The role involves planning and implementing inspection routes, coordinating with contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with legislation, and driving continuous improvements in inspection operations.

Core Duties
* Plan and implement allocation of inspection routes and prepare action plans for inspection activities
* Develop communication methods with consultants, contractors, and internal departments regarding violations, obstacles, and right-of-way inspections
* Lead annual inspection campaigns with internal and external departments, and prepare detailed reports on results
* Evaluate and analyze section processes using KPIs, recommending efficiency improvements
* Review inspection-related legislations periodically and submit recommendations for updates
* Prepare draft agreements and MOUs with internal and external government bodies concerning right-of-way inspections
* Investigate objections and complaints, provide recommendations, and report findings to management
* Oversee daily team work distribution, ensure compliance with inspection standards, and provide professional guidance
* Participate in workshops with consultants and contractors on inspection regulations, addressing inquiries transparently
* Develop and evaluate inspection policies and integrate IT initiatives to enhance inspection processes
* Conduct audit visits to assess inspection quality and compliance with approved plans
* Ensure compliance with the Disciplinary Inspection Policy and follow up on corrective actions
* Perform root cause analysis on recurring violations and recommend solutions
* Track the section s performance under the RTA Maturity Model for Regulatory Inspections and close audit NCRs
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or inspection roles
* Strong knowledge of right-of-way policies, legislations, and UAE regulations
* Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills
* Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes and inspection outputs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with multiple stakeholders
* Proficiency in technical reporting and inspection systems
