Job Description – Inspector (Architectural)
Job Title: Architectural Inspector
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Inspector to monitor and inspect architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting finishing works and ensuring construction activities meet design and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect architectural works on-site including finishing, blockwork, plastering, tiling, painting, waterproofing, and cladding.
Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Monitor quality of materials and workmanship used in architectural works.
Review and verify shop drawings and material submittals.
Conduct site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
Identify non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to resolve site issues.
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project quality standards.
Monitor progress of finishing works and ensure timely completion.
Maintain records of inspections, approvals, and site activities.
Required Airport Project experience
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5–10 years of experience as an Architectural Inspector.
Strong experience in architectural finishing works.
Experience in residential, commercial, villa, or high-rise projects.
Good knowledge of architectural materials and finishing techniques.
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings.
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
