Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and conduct comprehensive inspections of waste management facilities and operations to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of inspectors, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing and compliant team.
- Investigate and document incidents, spills, and complaints related to waste operations, formulating corrective actions and preventative measures.
- Develop and implement inspection protocols, checklists, and reporting procedures to standardize inspection processes and ensure consistency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) or similar, demonstrating expertise.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 7 years of experience in waste management or environmental compliance, showcasing practical knowledge.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of waste regulations, including RCRA, CERCLA, and state-specific requirements.
