Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring a Site Engineer to join our team for installation and maintenance of medium voltage equipment. The ideal candidate should have 1 3 years of experience in a similar field, with a strong background in handling equipment such as distributors, RMUs, and oil/dry-type transformers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and execute on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of MV equipment.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for MV switchgear, RMUs, and transformers.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and single-line diagrams.
  • Ensure site safety compliance and adherence to electrical codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Prepare site reports and documentation for maintenance and installation activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve site-level technical issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 3 years of hands-on experience in medium voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of MV equipment (12kV/24kV), protection systems, and cable terminations.
  • Familiarity with major brands such asEl Sewedy, Schneider, Siemens, or ABB is a plus.
  • Male candidates preferred due to frequent site work and travel.
  • Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in field conditions.
  • Military status: Exempted or Completed.
  • Driver s license is a plus.
