Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure instrumentation equipment, ensuring all systems are up to required specifications.
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on instrumentation and control systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and calibration of instruments to maintain precise readings and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify enhancements to instrumentation systems.
  • Document findings, maintenance actions, and updates in compliance with internal protocols.
  • Stay informed about technological advancements and best practices in instrumentation engineering.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Energy industry.
  • Proficiency in working with control systems such as PLCs, DCS, and SCADA.
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation calibration processes and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication abilities in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
