Duties and Responsibilities

Compliance- Follow the rules & regulations of the company.

Monitoring and Reporting- Take daily rounds of all plant, check and report for any abnormality.

Work Preparation & Safety Understand the job clearly prior to starting the work and to ensure safety and quality of the work.

Resource Management Utilize spares etc. in an effective way

Teamwork Work as a team with other operation & maintenance sections & optimize various activities

Maintenance Execution Perform preventive, corrective and other maintenance programs as assigned in an effective manner & thus ensure timely completion of the work.

Equipment Protection Prevent corrosion by cleaning and painting equipment

Equipment Monitoring Monitor and maintain all mechanical equipment in best possible ways.

Area Cleanliness Ensure cleanliness of the area, equipment & tools after completion of work.

Tool Management Manage his personal tool box and personal protective equipment.

QHSE Compliance Understand, adhere, apply and carry out tasks and duties in accordance with QSE policies, rules and procedures.

Risk Reporting Report QHSE risks and impacts associated with its activities.

Availability On Call Duty and work overtime when required.

Manager Requests Any specific request from his manager and engineer has to be respected.

Troubleshooting Trouble shooting on equipment.

Other Duties Any other responsibility/work assigned by management.

ISO Support and maintain all the ISO Certifications

Employment Standard

Ability to:

Carryout electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of HV & LV switchgears, motors, transformers, VFDs, generators, including all associated controls & protections.

Test, dismantle, repair all measuring and control equipment (e.g. actuators, VSD, instruments, etc.).

Perform maintenance on all the process instruments.

Calibrate instruments on-line (e.g. Analysers and other measuring instruments).

Troubleshoot root causes of malfunctioning and break down.

Work under minimum supervision.

Write, read & speak in English.

Knowledge of

• Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant operation practices and procedures.
• Safe practices and procedures, standards and conduct and work performance.
• Understanding of Pumps, motors, instruments, compressors, Air conditioners & generators.
