Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our operations team in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliable operation and maintenance of instrumentation systems while supporting smooth plant functioning in a fertilizer or petrochemical environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide the technicians team to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for instrumentation systems and equipment.
  • Develop predictive maintenance plans to improve plant reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and timely availability of materials and spares.
  • Support the Head Electrical in daily maintenance and operational activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Maintain maintenance records and documentation through CMMS systems.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting in continuous process industries.
  • Hands-on exposure to maintenance planning and execution.
  • Good coordination and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is preferred.

Experience Required

  • 9-12 years of experience in maintenance management within Fertilizer, Petrochemical industries.
  • Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
