Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Experienced in the Field Instruments Maintenance activities in the Oil and Gas Offshore facility covering Wellhead Control Panel, Hydraulic Power Units, Field Instruments, Transmitters, Valves, Positioners, Package Unit Instruments.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs, DCSs, and SCADA systems, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on instrumentation equipment, such as transmitters, sensors, and control valves, to maintain optimal performance and accuracy.

  • Calibrate instruments and control devices, verifying accuracy against established standards and making necessary adjustments.

  • Install and commission new instrumentation and control systems, ensuring proper integration with existing infrastructure and adherence to safety protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, or a related field.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation and control systems within the VALVE industry.

  • Possesses a valid PTW/PA certification is an advantage

  • Exhibits a strong understanding of process control principles, including PID control, loop tuning, and process optimization.
