Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Role & responsibilities
- Review BOMs and identify missing/critical spare parts for instrumentation
- Validate and update equipment data using P&IDs, loop diagrams, and asset registers
- Ensure complete and accurate instrument specifications, tagging, and documentation
- Prepare and standardize instrument data sheets (pressure, temperature, flow, level, analyzers)
- Update calibration data, ranges, and technical specifications in line with standards
- Perform equipment criticality assessments (safety, production, reliability)
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and reliability teams
- Maintain accurate data in SAP PM
- Create/update equipment master data, functional locations, and maintenance plans
- Ensure proper asset hierarchy and data integrity in SAP
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors in Instrumentation Engineering or related field
- 5+ years experience in instrumentation, maintenance, or asset management
- Hands-on experience with SAP PM is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument data sheets
- Experience in BOM review, equipment data management, and criticality analysis
- Knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance and reliability concepts
- Experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry preferred
- Strong analytical, coordination, and data management skills
