Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Support and execute of ENP PCD Cybersecurity activities related to instrument and Electrical Systems in the OmanLNG Sur complex, in order to ensure plant upkeep and availability, and provide a safe working environment in the plant at all times.

The Engineer will liaise with Instrument and Electrical team for any planned PCD-IT Equipment, arrange with IT team and conduct the required routine and call off maintenance activities related to PCD Systems.

He will be required to support ENP team in identifying the threat and risks related to PCD Cybersecurity of Automation and Electrical Systems and prepare remediation plan.

The Engineer will also be required to support drafting and updating the existing System drawings and network diagrams.

Plan, organise and Execute Engineering PM and CM for PCD-IT equipment

Respond to PCD P1 and P2 call out after working hours if needed to check issues related to PCD Security and advise the remediation plan in accordance to procedures

Work involves regular site maintenance duties and, Long hours of work during shut down.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

Preferred candidate profile

  • BSc degree in engineering science (specialising in instruments and electronics), computer engineering, information technology, or cyber security
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in oil and gas industry (minimum 2 years of experience for Sr. Project Engineer), preferably in OT/ICS environments (oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or similar).
  • Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity standards such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and vendor-specific security guidelines.
  • Network and Cybersecurity Certifications are preferred.
  • Work effectively on AutoCAD , VISIO and other drawing and design software
  • Experience of projects scope definition, cost & benefit calculation, projects execution & implementation plans, Commissioning and Post implementation review.
