Insurance Officer

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Officer to manage insurance approvals, patient claims, and staff insurance, with a focus on IVF and fertility services. The role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of UAE healthcare insurance processes.

• Approval Management:
  Secure prior-authorizations from insurance/TPAs for IVF and other services, cancel unused approvals, and ensure timely updates and communication with relevant departments.
• Insurance Claims & Coordination:
  Follow up on pending and rejected claims, maintain regular communication with insurance providers, and collaborate with reception, coding, and finance teams for claim accuracy.
• Revenue Cycle Support:
  Verify approval numbers against invoices, assist in preparing quotations/invoices for cash and third-party patients, and follow up on cash payments and approvals (e.g., embryo freezing).
• Staff Insurance Handling:
  Coordinate employee insurance activities including renewals, additions, deletions, and maintain all related documentation in coordination with the Public Relations Department.
• Documentation & Record Keeping:
  Maintain organized records for all approvals, invoices, third-party payers, discounts, and MOH cases.
• Confidentiality & Compliance:
  Ensure strict confidentiality of all patient and staff records, adhere to internal policies and UAE healthcare regulations, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement.
• OSHMS Responsibilities:
  Follow occupational health and safety standards, report hazards/incidents, assist in investigations, and help maintain a safe working environment.
