Telesales Manager – Insurance (Outbound Focus) Location: Bahrain Industry: Insurance Brokerage We’re looking for a hands-on Telesales Manager with strong outbound cold-calling, insurance brokerage, and team leadership experience to build and scale a high-performing insurance telesales unit.
If you know how to drive conversions, coach agents, and turn raw data into closed deals, this role is for you.
Role Overview
You will build and lead a telesales division focused on:
High-volume outbound calling
Converting large client databases into qualified leads
Closing motor insurance sales
Retaining and renewing existing customers
This is a commercial, performance-driven role where your decisions directly impact revenue.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Build the Telesales Unit
Set up the telesales structure, hiring plan, and performance standards.
Create workflows for data intake, qualification, calling sequences, and conversions.
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and productivity targets for agents.
Own Outbound Lead Generation
Drive daily outbound calling activity through lead generation agents.
Build partnerships and campaigns to bring in new data and fresh leads.
Oversee data cleaning, enrichment, validation, and qualification.
Implement systems to automate follow-ups around renewal and expiry cycles.
Run High-Performance Sales Operations
Create sales scripts, talk tracks, objection-handling guides, and renewal strategies.
Manage telesales agents to close qualified leads and renew existing customers.
Deliver regular coaching, training, and performance reviews.
Conduct daily huddles and run a disciplined sales floor.
Optimize Performance & Reporting
Track conversion rates, call productivity, cost per acquisition, and renewal outcomes.
Prepare reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Identify process gaps and propose automation or tools to increase efficiency.
Who We’re Looking For Experience
5+ years in outbound telesales, preferably within insurance.
Experience working in an insurance brokerage is highly preferred.
Solid background managing telesales teams hitting aggressive calling and conversion targets. Proven success building or scaling a telesales operation (lead funnels, scripts, dashboards).
Skills
Strong leadership, coaching, and sales-floor management.
Expertise in CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).
Comfort with data-driven decision-making, reporting, and performance metrics.
Strong English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
