Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Use your home furnishing expertise to create inspiring room settings, vignettes, and sales areas that reflect the IKEA identity
Turn insights from home visits and customer research into locally relevant, functional, and commercial solutions that delight visitors.
Help shape the Showroom matrix to showcase a variety of styles, living situations, and price levels, creating clear visual impact and rhythm.
Plan and implement range presentations with simplicity, quality, efficiency, and cost-awareness, using global tools and best practices.
Stay up to date with trends in home furnishing and retail, contributing ideas in workshops and creative sessions.
Support the department action plan with initiatives that grow the business, working closely with the Com&In team and other functions.
Collaborate effectively, follow routines, act quickly on commercial opportunities, and understand the financial impact of your actions.
Use the IKEA range to highlight different styles and meet diverse tastes and needs.
Keep visitors in mind on the shop floor, minimizing disruption while maintaining safety and strong visual appeal.
Report any security breaches promptly to the relevant authority and manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
You have a background in Interior Design, or a related field, with a passion for home furnishing and everyday life at home. Creative and commercially aware, you bring practical, hands-on skills in a fast-paced retail environment. You re fluent in English (Arabic an advantage), familiar with AutoCAD and Revit, and stay up to date with the latest trends.
