About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and executing interior design concepts that align with Guillam s brand vision. This role involves contributing to space planning, material selection, and visual storytelling, while ensuring designs are both functional and visually compelling.
The position requires a strong eye for detail, solid technical skills, and the ability to translate concepts into clear, well-executed design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive interior design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, materials, finishes, and furniture layouts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, operational needs, and brand guidelines.
Prepare and present design proposals, including drawings, mood boards, concepts, circulation, zoning studies, and 3D visualizations.
Source, specify, and select materials, furnishings, lighting, and d cor that align with the project vision and brand identity.
Oversee and support the implementation of design projects to ensure execution aligns with approved design plans and specifications.
Stay up to date with interior design trends, new materials, and emerging design technologies to ensure fresh and innovative design outcomes.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
0 2 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant projects.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
SketchUp experience is a plus.
Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, circulation, zoning, materials, and rendering tools (e.g., Corona, V-Ray).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to interior design.
