Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to determine project scope and design preferences.
• Create detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations.
• Select and specify furniture, finishes, lighting, and accessories that meet the client's requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and techniques in the interior design industry.
• Prepare presentations and design boards to effectively communicate ideas to clients.
• Ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations during the design process.
• Provide regular updates to clients on project progress and any necessary changes.
• Facilitate client decision-making by offering expert advice and thoughtful recommendations.
• Conduct on-site visits for measuring spaces and inspecting installations.
• Maintain a detailed portfolio of completed projects for future client reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in interior design projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating successful interior design projects and innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of materials, furnishings, and finishes appropriate for various design styles.
