Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to determine their requirements, preferences, and project goals.
• Create detailed design plans and drawings that meet client specifications.
• Select furniture, accessories, fabrics, and materials with attention to detail.
• Prepare cost estimates and adhere to budget constraints effectively.
• Coordinate with architects, builders, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create design models and presentations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in interior design.
• Supervise design implementation and resolve any discrepancies during the process.
• Ensure that chosen designs meet safety and building regulations and standards.
• Review and approve shop drawings and material samples for accuracy and quality.
• Conduct post-completion evaluations to assess the success of design installations.
• Establish and maintain a positive relationship with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field is required.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in design implementations.
