Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Inspect completed work for quality and make necessary touch-ups, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and adherence to standards.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, keeping them clean, organized, and in good working condition for optimal performance.
  • Prepare surfaces meticulously, including patching holes, sanding imperfections, and priming to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Expertly apply paint, stains, and coatings to various interior surfaces, utilizing brushes, rollers, and sprayers with precision.
  • Protect surrounding areas by covering furniture, floors, and fixtures with drop cloths and masking tape, safeguarding against spills and overspray.
  • Color match and mix paints accurately, ensuring consistency and achieving the desired aesthetic for each project.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following all safety guidelines.
  • Manage time efficiently, completing projects within agreed-upon deadlines while maintaining a high level of workmanship.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience, showcasing proficiency in various painting techniques.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation of basic skills and knowledge.
  • Completion of a painting apprenticeship or vocational training, providing hands-on experience and industry knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in residential or commercial painting projects, showcasing versatility and adaptability.
  • Strong understanding of color theory and paint application techniques, ensuring superior results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting, while maintaining quality.
  • Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment, including brushes, rollers, sprayers, and ladders, enhancing productivity.
