Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
During your tenure as an Intern in business Tax, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
- Develops knowledge of Income Tax rules and regulations and their associated processes to formulate solutions for client problems.
- Assist in preparing corporate tax returns, and other tax-related documentation.
- Conduct research on tax laws, international tax treaties, and regulatory updates.
- Help in preparing tax computations, reconciliations, and related reports.
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals in analyzing financial statements for tax implications.
- Assist in responding to tax authorities audits.
- Support in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with firm policies and local tax regulations.
- Conducts research on tax regimes in local and other tax jurisdictions in which clients operate.
- Researches and prepares draft client reports under the guidance of senior staff and project management.
Desired Candidate Profile
u>Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent research skills and strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
- Basic understanding of taxation principles, financial statements, and accounting concepts
- Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking, and Writing). Preference will be given to Bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
