Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Banque du Liban (BDL) regulations and reporting requirements
- Evaluate AML/CFT compliance and internal policies
- Assess internal controls, risk management, and fraud prevention measures
- Audit financial operations, transactions, and reconciliations
- Review IT systems, data protection, and cybersecurity practices
- Identify operational gaps and recommend improvements
- Prepare audit reports and highlight discrepancies
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in accounting, Auditing, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit (preferably fintech or financial sector)
Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, and internal controls
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience in fintech or digital wallets is a plus
