International Mechanical & Electrical Company (IMECO) was established in 1982 as a Mechanical & Electrical Contracting company in Abu Dhabi. IMECO started working for ADNOC Group companies, other government sectors and international contractors from the early 1980's. It has a strong presence in the oil sector having maintained good relations and completed contracts for all the oil related companies based in the Abu Dhabi region. Since its establishment, IMECO has executed over 650 projects in the field of engineering involving over 235 million documented man hours. Consistently growing, our 2800+ strong permanent workforce is largely made up of technical field personnel and skilled labour. Major work is carried out in and around the Abu Dhabi region including the entire Western Region, Ruwais, Mirfah, Delma, Das, Marawah, Ras Ghorab & Zirku Islands as well as Zakum, Satah and Bab fields.
